Chapter-wise Study Strategy for Engineering Drawing I

The following article is based on the Tutorial Sheet of Engineering Drawing I. And, you may find multiple places mentioning MCL's textbook. So it is nothing but a textbook, "Engineering Drawing I" written by Mahesh Chandra Luintel.
  1. Plane Geometrical Construction: See all the drawings from MCL's textbook. Practice the provided examples as well.
  2. Descriptive Geometry I: Practice all the drawings as well as examples from the MCL's textbook.
  3. Descriptive Geometry II: Watch these two videos from Learn with us's YouTube channel to clear all the concepts, Part I & Part II. To feel more comfortable with the questions, you may practice a few more from Past Year Questions (PYQs).
  4. Orthographic and Sectional: One of the crucial topics of Drawing I. You can master this topic with constant practice. There is always something you are missing in the solution so you need to be very careful about it. You can refer to these videos for this topic,
  5. Development of Surfaces: See some questions from MCL's textbook and refer to these videos for further practice,
  6. Intersection of Solids: Similar to orthographic drawings, in the Intersection of Solids you just need a few extra lines to draw. Questions related to pyramids are considered difficult. You can practice them from these videos as well.
